What is axe-core?
axe-core is a fast, secure, lightweight, and reliable accessibility testing engine. It is used by thousands of developers and testers to identify accessibility issues in web applications and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, and other accessibility standards.
Our Usage
Auditable integrates axe-core through the @axe-core/puppeteer package to provide comprehensive accessibility scanning of websites. The engine runs within our scanning service to identify WCAG Level A and AA violations, providing detailed reports with actionable remediation guidance.
